By car

From Florence to RomeHighway Autostrada del Sole” A1, exit Valdichiana. After the toll booth turn right and follow the signs to Siena. Take the 4 lanes road S.G.C. Bettolle-Siena, keeping the direction to Siena. Exit at Sinalunga and turn left. Again left and at the first roundabout go straight. At the second roundabout turn right and after 15 mt. Turn left. After the overpass of the railway line turn left and go on for about 1 Km long.  On the right side you will find the sign to Grosseto/Montalcino/Trequanda. Follow the signs to Montalcino and, after the town of Trequanda, you will sight the ruins of the fortress. After 500 mt. Turn right into the drive with the cypress.

By train

In Sinalunga there is a railway station well connected with Siena (40/55 minutes) and Chiusi (25/30 minutes) where is possible to take the train to Rome (1 hour and 30 minutes).
